Do you offer other holidays other than what's shown on your website?

Yes. The holidays shown allow you to see what is currently available and are all available for booking, but if you have your own ideas, or would like to adapt one of our holidays to suit your group, please give us a call on 01858 469137 where we can discuss your requirements in detail.

 

I have my own ideas for a holiday. Can you help me?

If you have your own ideas for your group, that's great. We can tailor-make your holiday to a destination of your choice, working with you to design your holiday itinerary, or just tell us what you want and we will make all the arrangements. We can be involved in the planning as much or as little as you want, just let us know.

 

What size does my group need to be?

We do not specify a minimum group size - but please be aware that the price will reflect the number of passengers travelling!

 

Why are the prices shown on your website cheaper than the price I've been quoted?

There could be several reasons for this:

 

Firstly, what time of year are you travelling? Hotel prices are much cheaper in the winter months, so if you are travelling in July this will be reflected in the price.

 

Secondly, how many people are in your group? If you've told us you expect to travel with 20-25 people, the price will be dearer than if you could guarantee to fill the coach. Don't forget we'll never match you with another group without your permission, so your group of 20 people will have the whole coach to themselves.

 

Finally, have you asked us to include anything extra in your price? Entrance fees to local attractions, special themes or entertainment all add to the price of your holiday.

 

Is the price you've given me the best price you can offer?

The price we quote is always the best price we can offer based on your dates of travel, group size and itinerary requirements. If you want to try to reduce the price, we can offer suggestions to help you:

 

Why not alter your dates of travel slightly? - if you want to travel towards the end of September, would you consider the first week in October to reduce the price?

 

Would you consider pairing up with another group to fill a coach? If the holiday will run with 40+ passengers, we can normally reduce the price.

 

The price you've quoted me is too high - my group will never pay it. What can I do?

Tell us. If we don't know the price is too high, we can't do anything about it. Talk to us about where your price needs to be, and we can look at some of the options mentioned above, and work with you to find a solution.

 

Do you charge single room supplements?
We only charge single room supplements where they are charged to us by the hotel, and these are passed on at cost. If it suits your group better, we can build the cost of the supplement in to the holiday price itself, however in this case single rooms will be strictly limited.

 

Can you help me arrange a theme break?

Yes. We will work with you to create a holiday around your chosen theme. Previously we have arranged bowls holidays, dance breaks, and we have an experienced driver with a specialism in the battlefields of World War I and II, who frequently works with the Normandy Veterans and similar organisations. We will help you as much as we can to arrange your chosen theme break, so just let us know what you want us to do.

 

Do you offer free organiser places?

Yes, we normally offer one free place with 25 paying passengers and two free places with 45 paying passengers. We also have some other incentives for group organisers on offer.

 

What pick up points do you offer?

Pick up points are arranged at locations convenient to you, providing adequate access is available for the coach

 

Do you pick up anywhere in the UK?

Yes, we can arrange pick up points across the UK. If you require pick ups in more than one town / area, please call us to discuss your requirements as we must ensure your journey time complies with driving hours regulations.

 

Do you have tour managers on your holidays?
We offer a tour manager service on request only and subject to availability. If you would like a tour manager on your holiday, please let us know prior to booking so we can advise you if a tour manager is available. Please note this service is not guaranteed.

 

Is there anything you can't do?

We can't guarantee the traffic or the weather! But we will do our best to ensure you have a fantastic holiday, from the moment you are picked up to the moment you are dropped off.

 

How do I book?

Give us a call or send us an email and we will talk through your requirements and put your holiday together for you. We will then send you a booking pack at which point your booking held provisionally for 28 days, unless otherwise agreed.

 

How do I confirm my booking?

Once you have received your booking pack, please read through all the information carefully. If you are happy to proceed, please confirm to us in writing (by letter or email) that you wish to continue. This confirms your provisional booking and your acceptance of our terms and conditions on behalf of your group. We then ask for a deposit of £25 per person from your passengers, which should be forwarded with your completed booking forms and rooming list.

 

I don't really want to use my personal bank account for my group. What can I do?

We are happy to accept individual cheques, so just collect them all in, made out to Exclusive Holidays Ltd, and post them off to us. Please do not send cash through the post - if your passengers pay you cash please send us a cheque, as we can not guarantee the security of any cash sent.

 

Can I add passengers after the deposits have been paid?

Generally speaking you can increase your numbers until one month before the date of travel, although we ask that you notify us of changes as soon as possible. If you have filled your rooming allocation, you must speak to us before accepting additional bookings, as we will need to check availability with the hotel. If there is less than one month before the date of travel, all additional rooms are on request only.

 

What happens if someone cancels?

If one of your passengers cancels, until one month before the date of travel they will lose their deposit only, unless the space is filled. If someone cancels less than one month before the date of travel, the full balance is payable, although it may be possible to claim this back on their travel insurance.

 

Do you sell travel insurance?

Due to changes in legislation, we are no longer able to sell travel insurance. However, Coach Plus is a specialist insurance for UK and European coach holidays. Please visit their website for more details, or ask us to send you a leaflet.

 

When is my balance due?

The final balance is payable four weeks before the date of travel. Please make a note of the date as we do not send out reminders.
